By Plane - Airport Berlin Tegel (TXL)

This airport is very close to the conference venue. Take the airport shuttle bus (X9) to Ernst-Reuter Platz (15 minutes) and walk from here to the PTB (5-minute walk) or take a taxi from the airport directly to the PTB (ca. 10 minutes, ca. 20 €).

By Plane - Airport Berlin-Schönefeld (SFX)

This is across the city, so a taxi is expensive unless you can share the costs (about 45 minutes; about 40 €).

There are many public transport connections with at least one change from the airport to “Zoologischer Garten”, a train and S-Bahn station close to the venue. The travel time is about one hour. One possible connection: At the S-Bahn station Flughafen Schönefeld take a regional train (RE7 or RE14) or S-Bahn (Line 9, destination Pankow) to Berlin Ostkreuz, then change at Ostkreuz to the S-Bahn (Lines 5, 7 and 75) in direction of Zoologischer Garten. Leave the train at Zoologischer Garten. From there you can walk to the conference venue via Hardenbergstraße and Ernst-Reuter-Platz (walking distance: 15 minutes), take a bus (M45, 245, or X9) or you can stop a taxi and take a fixed rate short ride (4€ for up to 2km).

By Railway - Central Station Berlin Hauptbahnhof

At Berlin Hauptbahnhof take a regional train or S-Bahn (any line in direction of Charlottenburg, Westkreuz (Line S75), Potsdam (Line S7) or Spandau (Line S5)) to Zoologischer Garten. From there you can walk to the conference venue via Hardenbergstraße and Ernst-Reuter-Platz (walking distance: 15 minutes), take a bus (M45, 245, or X9) or you can stop a taxi and take a fixed rate short ride (4€ for up to 2km).
